Every summer Oceana Resorts offers on-site activities and field trips for children.
Oceana Resorts in Myrtle Beach, SC is proud to offer fun activities and unique field trips exclusively for families that stay at 5 of our beautiful oceanfront properties. Scheduled to run June 7th through August 31st, 2013, the Summer Kids Camp program activities are typically offered Monday through Saturday and will change weekly.

Wild Water & Wheels Day Trips* Every Monday through Saturday beginning June 14 – Aug 17, 2013 Available at all 5 participating resorts Oceana Resorts will provide transportation to and from Wild Water & Wheels Water Park. Have loads of fun with new summer friends at 16-acres filled with 24 slides, lazy river, lagoons, wipeout wave pools, and much more. Lunch will be provided during the trip. |

Ripley’s Aquarium Kid’s Night Out* Every Wednesday night starting on June 12, 2013 Available at The Anderson Ocean Club & Spa, Best Western PLUS Carolinian, and Patricia Grand Resort Enjoy a night at the Aquarium in this program exclusively designed for kids only! There will be plenty of music, dancing, karaoke, scavenger hunts, pizza and more to keep the fun going all night. When exhaustion finally sets in, kids will set up camp in the tunnel and “Sleep with the Sharks.” |

Surf Camp* Every Thursday morning starting on June 11, 2013 Available at Bay Watch Resort & Conference Center Wave riders around the world will recognize you as a true surfer after participating in this fun program! Begin with surfing basics including board preparation, etiquette and learning to read the waves. Then enter the water with a professional surfing instructor who will teach you to surf the waves like a pro. At the completion of this gnarly camp, you will receive a certification highlighting your surfing skills. |

Mermaid Training* Every Wednesday starting June 12, 2013 Available at The Anderson Ocean Club and Patricia Grand Resort Hotel Ripley’s Mermaids give young guests the opportunity to swim in a real mermaid tail, learn mermaid tricks and play mermaid games under and above the water. Children will also create their own mermaid name, make their own mermaid wishing stone and each participant will receive a certificate recognizing them as a true mermaid! |

Medieval Times Kids Knight Out* Friday evenings starting June 14th Available at Camelot By The Sea Transportation is provided to and from Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. This special event offers children a unique tour of the castle before the main show and an exclusive meet and greet party with the Medieval Times cast afterward! |

*These activities require a fee. Please pay with cash only before activity begins.
Only Oceana Resorts guests are eligible to participate in activities. Any activity may be changed due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. In case of inclement weather, please check the activity boards located in the hotel lobby for alternate plans. Kids Camp t-shirts must be worn at all times for all off-site activities.
Parents can sign children up for the activities once they arrive at the resort. Children, ages 5-12, may participate in the program. Children cannot be supervised before or after scheduled program activities. See the Activities Director at the resort for additional information and specific times for each activity.
