A long stay at the beach is a different booking from a long weekend. You want a kitchen, a rate that makes sense by the month, and somewhere that is set up for people who are living there rather than passing through. Four of our resorts run a monthly winter rental program built for exactly that.
What a monthly stay looks like here
The programs are seasonal — they run through the quiet half of the year, when the Grand Strand belongs mostly to the people who stay on it. A few rules are the same everywhere: stays run 28 nights minimum, bookings are made by phone with a Vacation Specialist rather than through the online booking engine, and a $250 deposit is due at the time of booking. Guests must be 55 or older to qualify for the monthly rate plan, residents of Horry, Marion, Georgetown and Brunswick counties are not eligible, and a March stay must include the full month of February.
Ocean Park Resort — pet-friendly monthly winter rentals
The resort to call if your best friend is coming with you. Every rental at Ocean Park is pet-friendly, monthly pet fees are capped at $250, and the on-site FURology Paw Spa handles dog daycare and grooming — your dog winters at the beach too. Oceanfront efficiencies and one-bedroom suites with full kitchens, indoor and outdoor water features, and direct beach access. Monthly rentals run October through March, for stays of 28 to 88 nights. Housekeeping comes weekly.

The Patricia Grand — oceanfront monthly winter rentals
Oceanfront in downtown Myrtle Beach, with direct beach access, indoor and outdoor pools, and oceanfront dining on site at Azure. Monthly rentals run October through March, for stays of 28 to 88 nights. Housekeeping comes weekly, and select pet-friendly units welcome pets with monthly fees capped at $350.

Anderson Ocean Club and Spa — monthly winter rentals
Our upscale oceanfront property, with the Awakening Spa on site and accommodations from ocean-view studios up to a three-bedroom oceanfront penthouse — the widest range of sizes on offer for a long stay. Monthly rentals run November 1 through March 31, for stays of 28 to 89 nights. Anderson does not accept pets.

Carolinian Beach Resort — oceanfront monthly winter rentals
Oceanfront in Myrtle Beach, with direct beach access and an oceanfront pool deck. Monthly rentals run October through March, for stays of 28 to 88 nights. Housekeeping comes weekly. Carolinian does not accept pets, and breakfast at the on-site Magnolia’s at 26th is not included with monthly rentals.

- Bringing your dog? Ocean Park, where every rental is pet-friendly and the on-site paw spa does daycare and grooming. The Patricia Grand also welcomes pets in select pet-friendly units. Anderson and Carolinian do not accept pets. ADA service animals are welcome at all four.
- Want a spa and a bigger unit? Anderson, where the range runs to three-bedroom suites and a penthouse.
- Want dinner downstairs? The Patricia Grand, with oceanfront dining on site at Azure.
- Under 55, or looking outside the winter season? The monthly rate plan will not apply. Call us at 800-386-7637 and we will look at nightly and weekly rates across all four resorts instead — a long stay is still possible, it is just priced differently.

Can I book a monthly stay online?
No. Monthly winter rates are only available by phone through a Vacation Specialist — 800-995-7263 for Ocean Park Resort, 800-386-1872 for The Patricia Grand, 877-542-3224 for Anderson Ocean Club and Spa, 888-726-3762 for Carolinian Beach Resort.
Are monthly rates available in summer?
No. The programs are winter-season only: October through March at Ocean Park, The Patricia Grand and Carolinian Beach Resort; November through March at Anderson.
What is included in the rate?
The rate is per month and does not include tax, the resort fee, cleaning or damage waiver fees, which differ by resort. Each resort publishes its current rate table and fee schedule on the pages linked above — read those before you call.
Do I still get Book Direct Privileges on a long stay?
Monthly winter rentals are a separate rate plan with their own terms, so check with your Vacation Specialist about what applies to your dates rather than assuming. Our Book Direct Privileges page covers what comes with a standard direct booking.
