Trick or Treat

Free Boardwalk Fright Nights – Fridays and Saturdays in October

Every Friday and Saturday from dusk to midnight, downtown Myrtle Beach transforms into a spooky-fun place. Enter haunted houses, run from undead zombies, and meet other scary creatures in the Kids Zone. Get the family together for this free activity and suit up with your best Halloween costume.

Ghost of the Coast – October 23, 2021

We can’t imagine a better way to join a 5k run than by participating in a Halloween costume. The fun run will take place along the run/walk trail by the Carolina Forest Recreation Center, and it’s open to all ages. Dress in your best scary outfit to participate in the Fun Run awards, and join the free Trunk or Treat hosted by Horry County, which will feature face painting, family-friendly activities, and more.

Zombie Walk in Myrtle Beach

Flashlight Friday at Thompson Farm – Fridays through October 29, 2021

If corn mazes are already fun during the day, imagine a 6.5-acre one at night. After walking through the Thompson Farm maze with your flashlight, complete the fun with some coffee, hot cider, and s’mores around the fire pit. Come early with your blankets and chairs—and don’t miss the weekly featured movie. Check out the website for more event details.

Zombie Crawl – October 29, 2021

For the first time ever, zombies are getting together in a flash mob that will crawl from King Street Grille to Howard Avenue. Learn the “Thriller” dance and join the Zombie Crawl in your spookiest costume. After the flash mob, join a 1.5-hour tour from the open-top double-decker bus and listen to ghost stories about tombstones, spooky creatures, and paranormal activity (all ages are welcome). Read more about the event and pricing.

Hometown Halloween at Market Common – October 31, 2021

Finish your Halloween weekend celebrations with Hometown Halloween in the Market Common. Get your costume ready for Halloween night and take a spooky carriage ride around the Market Common from 4 to 7 p.m. Go trick-or-treating at all the shops with an orange balloon, and get those bones dancing during the Monster Mash dance party in front of Grand 14 cinema.
