Lace up your running shoes and throw on that tutu, The Divas® Marathon is returning once again to North Myrtle Beach on May 5th, 2019. This marathon is named “the most fun and glam women’s running series in the nation” and is all about celebrating girl power. This flashy marathon is held in the nation’s most beautiful destinations like Puerto Rico, Florida, California and of course, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. All participants will receive pink tutus to wear during the race, boas and tiaras just before the finish line, and a flashy medal to show off your accomplishment! Don’t forget to stick around after for the champagne toast and cheers for all your hard work.
Divas® Half Marathon Course
The Divas® Half Marathon course will start on Ocean Boulevard and head south towards Atlantic Beach, allowing you to enjoy beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. As you head inland on 25th Avenue South, you’ll get to experience small beach town charm at its finest with views of the city’s picturesque beach-side homes. About halfway through the race you’ll arrive at Main Street, the most popular area of Ocean Boulevard with local restaurants, bars, and shops. After Main Street, you’ll continue the course through North Myrtle Beach’s beautiful residential neighborhoods and lush green golf courses. It won’t be long before you turn back onto Ocean Boulevard and cross the finish line.
Divas® 5K Course
Divas® Marathon is an all inclusive community, so there are courses for every type of runner. If you are not quite ready for the half marathon, the Divas® 5K Course was designed just for you. Winding throughout Ocean Boulevard, up to Main Street, along Hillside Drive and to the finish line, you can enjoy a great run and an amazing empowering experience.
North Myrtle Beach Divas® Marathon Charity Partner
The Divas® Half Marathon partners with Breast Cancer Charities of America (iGoPink) to encourage everyone to join the fight against Breast Cancer. iGoPink helps bring awareness to Breast Cancer and educate, empower, and encourage all women to become pro-active in preventing Breast Cancer and, if diagnosed, in surviving the fight. How can you help support breast cancer awareness in North Myrtle Beach? Participants of the Divas® Half Marathon & 5K Series have the opportunity to raise funds for iGoPink and compete to be the Top iGoPink Individual and Team Fundraisers! Winners will receive special prices on race day.
